Booking, Deposit & Cancellation
Reservation policy When you make a reservation by email or phone, you submit a binding offer to conclude a booking agreement. The reservation applies to all persons listed, and the person placing the order is responsible for payment on behalf of all listed individuals. We will confirm your booking within 4 hours by email.
Deposit and payment A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. For bookings made within 15 days of arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is settled on-site. Payments can be made by bank transfer or PayPal — please note that PayPal transaction fees apply.
Cancellation fees
- 30+ days before arrival: No charge
- 29–21 days before arrival: 25% of total
- 20–8 days before arrival: 50% of total
- 7–2 days before arrival: 75% of total
- 1 day before arrival or no-show: 100% of total
- Cancellation during rental: 100% of total
If we need to cancel In exceptional circumstances where we are unable to provide a service, we will offer an equivalent arrangement at the same standard and price. If no suitable alternative is available, you will receive a full refund.
Windsurfing & Wingfoiling Activities
All equipment is used at the client's own risk. Equipment is provided exclusively for the person named in the rental agreement, unless a shared rental has been arranged.
Equipment is for use on the water only and must be launched and landed at the designated area in front of the center. It may not be kept on the beach overnight, transported elsewhere, or used at any other location.
Clients must comply with all applicable local and national regulations for personal watercraft.
We reserve the right to restrict or refuse access to equipment based on prevailing weather conditions or our assessment of the client's skill level. Safety is our priority and this decision is at our sole discretion.
Equipment Damage Insurance
Insurance can be arranged on-site or pre-booked. Without valid insurance, the client is liable for the full cost of any damage to rented equipment. A credit card may be requested as a security guarantee.
Insurance covers damage that occurs on the water. It does not cover:
- Damage to foils or fins
- Impact damage (reef, rocks, sand, beach, other vessels or equipment)
- Damage occurring on the beach
- Loss of equipment
We reserve the right to void insurance coverage if equipment is used in a manner inconsistent with the client's stated ability, or if it is being used destructively. In such cases the insurance fee will be refunded and any damage will be charged to the client.
Weather Policy
Windsurfing and wingfoiling are weather-dependent activities. Kouremenos is one of the most consistently windy spots in the Mediterranean, but like any natural environment, conditions vary and some days will not be suitable for sailing or foiling.
When you pre-book with us, a board is reserved exclusively for you for your entire stay — ready every day, whenever the wind is right. This is a commitment we make to every guest, and it means your equipment will never be given to someone else. For this reason, bookings cannot be refunded due to weather conditions outside our control, whether due to lack of wind, illness, injury, or any other reason.
We invest heavily in maintaining a premium fleet precisely so that when the wind arrives — and at Kouremenos it usually does — your experience is the best it can be.
