Our Windsurf & Wingfoil Center in Crete

Gone Surfing Crete is a boutique windsurf and wingfoil center located directly on Kouremenos Beach, in the eastern part of Crete. Known for its all-day wind, flat water, and relaxed atmosphere, Kouremenos is one of the best spots in Europe for learning and progressing in wind sports.

We are an owner-run center, not a mass-tourism station. Being “at the end of the road” allows us to focus on what really matters: quality equipment, personal attention, and time on the water. Our guests are not numbers — we know them by name, and many return year after year.

The center is small enough to feel personal, yet fully equipped to offer a wide range of boards, sails, wings, and foils. This balance allows us to stay flexible and give honest, experience-based advice — whether you are a beginner, a family, or an advanced rider.

Why Kouremenos Beach

Kouremenos is famous for its reliable Meltemi wind, blowing steadily throughout the day and often into the evening. The water is flat, with no waves, making it ideal for windsurfing and wingfoiling at all levels. The open bay, clear water, and uncrowded environment create safe and stress-free conditions on and off the water.

Equipment, Safety & Experience

We work with the latest Duotone windsurfing and wingfoiling equipment, carefully selected and maintained. Lessons and coaching are adapted to each rider, with safety always a priority. Rescue support, communication systems, and constant supervision are part of our daily routine.
